Hi just come across scriptographer and downloaded. does anyone know if this can be used with Pathstyler?

We currently use Pathstyler in an app writen in VisualBasic and would much rather run on a Mac using Automator or applescript but need something to control Illustrator to perform the functions needed and wondering if scriptographer might do the job.

Any thoughts anyone?

Any one know of any tutorials to get started with Illustrator plugin development?

I am trying to start a bootstraped plugin development company and need to see how hard it would be to implement my first plugin.

If some one would be willing to jump on board I could offer a percentage of sales. I have already spoken with a few companies and they would be willing to buy the plugin if available. They just want to see a simple demo before they invest in a preorder.

Other wise a simple point in the right direction would be great. It seems adobe's documentation is a wee bit fragmented or I am just looking in the wrong place.

the other day I saw a script in "Script of the Moment" that was something to do with a font made of strokes that you could alter to produce an effect of the fonts letters looking like they're made up of patterns or whatever.

I can't find it on the site now, can anyone tell me what it was and where it is to download?
