updating scripts without having to restart illustrator
Date:  18. December 2006, 19:03

I have been tinkering with the existing scripts. Is there any way to update the scripts without having to restart illustrator?
I.e. editing the scripts in a Text-editor, saving them and seeing the difference in Illustrator right away?

your help would be very much appreciated

(working with Mac OSX 10.4.8 and Illustator CS2, if it makes a difference)

Have you tested the refresh button;o)
But this just update the script folder... I'm not sure if it's what you ask for!

The refresh button only refreshes the folder structure. To recompile a changed script, just reassign it with the toolbar button for interactive scripts, or hit the play button for run-once scripts, and the changes are reflected. This is planned to become more intuitive in the future.

I hope this helps.
