Objects-on-Paths Select one or more objects including groups and compound paths (and text as paths) then click 'Set Objects' Select one or more open or closed paths on which to place the objects then click 'Set Paths' Note: Don't blame me if a very big set blows the memory ! Space type : 4 ways to place the objects count: number of items to spread along the line fixed: a space in pixels for each item fit: place as many as possible (uses max height and width of all the objects ) scale: as fit but for scaled objects this scales the space between objects as well fade: fades along the path Adjust fit: makes the fitted space smaller or larger Cycle: if there is more than one object there are 3 ways to choose at each point on the line all: draws all the objects on top of each other (use a group if need to keep in a shape) cycle: draws each object in turn along the path random: picks an object at random for each point Style : has rotation or vibration amount and specifies the centre of the rotation Main Scale: changes the size of all the objects (ueful if you want small patterns) Scale: makes each object bigger or smaller along the path Increase: the biggest object is at the start of the path Front big: the biggest object is on top of the smaller ones along the path Jitter: works like a scatter brush Repeat: repeats the whole group with offset and with optional scaling Fade: fades the whole group across the repeat 'Execute run' does what you expect. It leaves the paths selected afterwards so you can choose to delete them or move them. All the objects from one run are in a single group ( or group of groups if you did a repeat)
