So I pressed one of the little buttons at the bottom of the SC console and Scriptographer is no longer listed in the Window menu and does not seem to load at startup.
I am on Mac OSX 10.5.2.
The strange thing is, the buttons are still loading into the toolbar.
What did I do!!!!! Where did it go!
Reinstalled the script to no avail. Really don't want to reset my prefs but I'm guessing that's the next step.
same problem but on pc, except no buttons!

Yesterday I downloaded Scriptographer from this website. After working with the plugin for a few hours my illustrator cs3 crashed. I'm working on mac, version 10.5.6 and "my" Scriptographer also dissapeared. Is there already a solution to this problem?
(did reinstal de plugin already)

I experienced the same problem (CS3 and windows XP). I tried re-installing illustrator and then the scriptographer plugin, but this does not solve the problem. I also tried deleting the AIPrefs file but it did not work either.

Scriptographer opens in Illustrator just fine but the "tools" (the asterisks and forward slashes) do not appear in the tool bar nor on the bottom right of the scriptographer palette.
Ted, the tool buttons have been replaced by a pen icon which should be located in the bottom left of your tool palette. Select a script in the scriptographer window, press on the play button and then select the scripto pencil tool in the tool palette. (we still need to update the documentation on this, sorry about that!)
Got it. Thank you. Does the process have to be so cumbersome? Just removing the "press play" step would help in ease of use.
