Just a quick update: Since today, the new version compiles for CS2, all the needed changes from CFM to the MachO framework on OS X are done and checked in in the CVS.

First beta versions should be available soon.

The CS2 plugin is ready since weeks and runs nicely. The showstopper at the moment is the fact that the new site with documentation is still far from being ready, and the plan was to be online with it by now.

So anyone who wants to start playing around and does not mind the lacking documentation should just send me an email request, and I'll try to provide a beta version quickly.

And in the meantime, I work on the missing bits...

Hi Simon,

I just saw your post from 31. December about your willingness to help out with work. I think right now the documentation is indeed the part that needs the most work, but it's not the only part.

Are you familiar with CVS? And do you know about Javadoc? The easiest would be if you would start writing documentation into the source files directly, and update them in on the Sourceforge CVS repository. I can help you out with all this, it's not that complicated once the setup is sorted out. I would propose working with Eclipse, as it has great CVS support built in, and I'm sure there are some smart helpers for Javadoc too.

You should check out the src/java/com/scriptographer/ai folder, all Illustartor related Java files are in there.

In order to commit your changes you'll need a sourceforge account, and I'll need to make you a member of the project. I've never done it before but I guess it's easy. Another possibility is to send me the files by email and I'll check them first and then commit them. I prefer this for a start, and then we see how it goes and I can make you a member later on.

Does that sound good?
