Wrestled with the problem of Scriptographer not loading. Found an annoyingly simple solution:

In my Illustrator folder there are TWO plug-in folders, one called "Plug-ins", one called "Plugin-program". Moving Scriptographer from "Plug-in" to "Plugin-program" finally made Scriptographer appear within Illustrator.

I don't know wether this is due to my version of OSX (Swedish 10.4.9, which would explain the Swedish folder-title "Plugin-program") or if one of the plug-in folders is a legacy folder from an earlier installation of Illustrator. I run Illustrator 12.0.0.
