Just to confirm that I managed to reproduce that. Pressing '`' once make two `` appear, and none of them is joined with the character typed after. I will look into it again.

Ok, I managed to find the source of this and already fixed it. It is a known issue in Microsoft's ToUnicode method. Very odd...

Lola, what OS, Illustrator and scriptographer versions are you using?

It works fine for me on Win7 64bits, Illy cs5 and latest sg version right now (2.8.052)

I think Lola just stumbled upon this forum without knowing it's about Scriptographer, a plugin for Adobe Illustrator, not a general operating system one...

If that's the case and you are having this problem all over Windows, it may be caused by a virus/trojan. You can google it.

If that's not the case, forget what I just said and please provide more info so Jürg can help you :)
