I've tried to install the plugin and it seems that it is stopping Illustrator CS2 from booting, i've deleted the plugin and now I can run illustrator again!! What am I missing ???
oh and i've updated the Java package too...

actually, i'm having the same problem but with CS3. when i put the 'scriptographer' folder in the 'plug-ins' folder, illustrator starts to boot then just stops (seemingly, when it loads 'scriptographer'); i too have updated my Java package--tried JSE 5 and 6

yeh I'm running XP too, so frustrating....
