Ok, I don't know scripting at all, but actions do not work for this issue.

I'm trying to make Illustrator CS5 to default into saving in version 9.

As well on a similar note, when exporting, I'd like it to default to saving as a JPEG.

This way I can just 'enter' through the process of saving and exporting.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this? It was suggested to me scripting might be the answer.
