Scriptographer.org - Scriptographer / Java won't l...

OK, guys.

Can someone please help all of us posters that are trapped and looking for help on this issue? Why can't we get Scriptographer to work? As many others have posted in this forum, I'm trying to load Scriptographer in Illustrator CS2 on a Windows XP Professional PC running Java 5.0. Illustrator doesn't crash on me, but I never get to see the Palette in the Windows menu, so it's not loading. Yes, I've copied the *entire* folder into the Plug-Ins directory, and even the Extensions sub-directory -- to no avail. Here is the message of the error text -- as much as I can read before the edges of the window obscure the rest:

It took me a while to discover that I was running a BETA version of the JRE, so that was mucking up the issue. Now, it works beautifully!

Thank you, Simon. As Dwain seems to have found out himself in the end, there are many possible reasons on many different systems for Scriptographer not to work. It's not that there is one problem out there that I ignore and do not fix. I can only test on the systems I have, and on these it works.
