I downloaded the CS2 version, unstuffed it into the Illustrator plugin folder then opened Illustrator. Nothing came. Illustrator didn't read the plugin, no error, just nothing ..like it was never there.
What could be wrong?

Did you unzip the whole Scriptographer folder into the plugin folder, or just the plugin file itself?
Does the plugin appear in the list of plugins loading on startup (please look closely, as the names or sometimes displayed only shortly).
Another thought: did you use Aladdin Stuffit Expander for unpacking the archive? That might not work because of problems with file forks. If you use OS X's internal unpacking mechanism for Zip files, it might solve the problem.
