That's a shame to hear. I have no Windows 7 available here yet, so cannot test. I would assume that Illustrator keeps running in 32 bit mode so it needs a Java virtual machine that can run in 32 bit as well. Maybe this is the problem? Is your Java VM 64 bit only?

I am using windows7ultimate 32bit, illustrator cs4 and scriptographer didn't show up in illustrator. no error message. I installed the lastest jre-6u17-windows-i586-s and also tried jre-1_5_0_22-windows-i586-p; nothing changed..

hello! i have windows 7 64bit and the cs4 adobe suite. all works perfect but scriptographer.

followed the instructions, installed java 32bit but when i try to open illustrator after having installed scriptographer i get a message ''not able to load, not enough ram memory''.

anybody has a clue about this? brand new laptop by the way, no issues with memory and stuff!

I also have Win7 64 Bit, have JRE 32 Bit installed and Scriptographer is not working. In Illustrator the Window Menu is filled with Scriptographer tabs. Here is a part from my java.log file:

I am not very much of a code guy but when I look at the log and specifically at the line: Cannot read property "visible" from undefined (Q:\Program Files\Adobe Illustrator CS5\Plug-ins\Scriptographer\Core\JavaScript\gui\main.js#551) I would suspect that the plugin cannot find a certain file or so. Now I use the German version of Illustrator where the Plug-ins folder is called "Zusatzmodule". Maybe its a referencing problem.

had the same issue, solved it by installing the previous version of sg (2.0) which is for illustrator cs3, but seems to work fine with cs4 as well!
