I download this file MSVCR100.dll and copy to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5\Support Files\Contents\Windows but it give me an error MSVCR100.dll is not valid image....
if I remove the Scriptographer folder, Illustrator runs normal.
Please tell me what is the problem?

Hm, dunno what to say. Are you sure that that dll file is OK?
If not, download my dll and maybe it comes together.
Try also to copy the Scriptographer files just into the plugins folder.

I have a similar problem, running on win 7 64bit. It used to run perfectly on 5.1 but somehow it disappeared on me. I tried to reinstall AI and still the same problem. I DLed the msvcr100.dll and nothing is fixed. I sent the scriptographer folder to an external hdd and it says that it's conflicting with another plugin. I moved all the plugins except scriptographer and it just doesnt want to appear. Maybe do a full clean registry from anything related to AI?

NVM. its fixed :-). It would run only if JRE (32-bit) is installed. Also I had the original msvcr100.dll installed as well. now it runs perfectly.

Excuse me Ralph, I've the same problem : Scriptographer simply does not appear in AI cs5.1. I have the msvcr100 in place. I did'nt understand what did you do to fix yours ?

If you're on a 64bit OS and it's the same issue Ralph was having, try installing the 32-bit version of JRE: http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

OK, the msvcr100.dll that I downloaded from www.dll-files.com was the WRONG one. Don't download there.

You obviously have to install the following microsoft visual c++ package:

Now it works!
