As Adobe Illustrator is still 32 bit, you will need a 32 bit Java virtual machine on your system as well. This might be the problem?

I have the same problem in Ill CS4.
I downloaded Scriptographer_Win_CS4_2.6.036 and follow installation guide step by step. I'm using windows xp 32 bit SP3, last version of java SE is installed.
But new entry in the Window menu called Scriptographer didn't appear.
I checked in "help->system info" that Scriptographer is installed in plug-ins.
I am using trial version of CS4. Might this be the problem?

Is there anything in the Logs folder inside the Scriptographer folder? If so, could you please paste the files here? Thanks.

There is no Logs folder. It must be?

Maybe that's it. Could it be that Scriptographer does not have the right to create one? How are you executing things? As Administrator or normal user? Could you try creating a Logs folder that anyone can write to inside the Scriptographer folder?

I have administrator rights. Thank you for advise! I will try and inform you about results.

I just did a test on a normal user account that does not have admin rights, and even though the Logs folder cannot be created then, the plugin still works. So this is definitely not the issue here. Did this dialog here show up? Did you click 'Accept'?

I am also having issues getting the Scriptographer option to show up under the Windows drop down menu. I've moved the Scriptographer folder to various Plug-In locations (Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS4\Plug-ins and Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings\en_US\Plug-ins) but no luck. Not even a dialog box as in the above comment. I am running cs4 on a 32 bit xp system. Thanks.

Hi santopino, did previous versions of Scriptographer work for you?

I have a similar problem, except I'm running CS4 on OSX Leopard. The dialog box doesn't show up and neither does the menu option under "Windows". I reinstalled the plugin, reset Illustrator prefs... and nothing. There's no Logs folder anywhere, though I am logged into the admin account.

I would really appreciate your help.
