I'm very interested as well. The tutorials you've seen/ found in the internet should be quite sufficient to start off. Me personally, I've learnt Actionscript by looking at other guys code and collecting tidbits spread over the net. And I'm still learning!

Anyways, there is a need for a quick scripting start off for beginners, cause designers aren't taught scripting at all and it will take an awfull long time before we'll be able to write the first working scripts. Anyone?! Please?!

At first try to change some lines in the script you have :) try to read the code and when you are ok, create your own with a lot of copy/paste ^^ and when you have a question, come here ?
