Bubbel Bubbling as a clone brush

Wondering if there would be a way to use the "Bubbel Bubbling" script along with the "Colorizer" to produce a "brush" that would make the same random sized and scattered "bubbles" but with the color values of a raster image. The raster image either being underneath the drawing of the bubbles or perhaps selected prior to the drawing of the bubbles.

i can use the scripts together and get the same results (draw a bunch of bubbles over a raster image and then select the bubbles with the raster and run the "colorize" script) but it might be neat and relatively easy to combine the two. This would create something like the clone brush in photoshop but with dots.

thanks, (raymondm3@netscape.com)

Have you seen this, something like it I'd guess?

Color averaging

that does seems to be very close to what i am looking for. and now that you mention it, I believe i did complete that tutorial (it's been a while). it would only need some kind of randomization function.

on another thought:
Could you use the same principle but instead have the size of the circle effected by the grayscale value of the pixel (disregarding color)? So a random amount of black dots could be "painted" over a raster image and each dots size would be dictated by the pixel it was on top of. it could be a "stippling" brush.
