This tool draws fish bone like patterns (for lack of a better description). It places a copy your line at a set angle on both sides.

Make sure you play with all the options, as it changes how the tool works pretty drastically.

I have had alot of fun playing with this one, so I hope you do too.

Updated version:

  • works in Scriptographer 2.0.025 (one single line of code had to change)
  • fixed a small problem with the circles being placed behind the paths.

Keegan

This script currently only works with Scriptographer 2.0.

amazing!

What's the content of your file? It sounds like you are downloading it the wrong way. It probably contains some HTML? Just left-click the link, and then accept the agreement on the following page. The download then should start automatically.

What options? Other than changing the stroke weight?

Hi Ravu,

You can change the options for this tool (and most of the other tools on this site) by:

1. set the script to one of scriptographer's tools - either // or **
2. Double click on that tool on the illustrator tool bar to get a dialogue with options. note: you must double click on the tool in the illustrator tool bar, not in the scriptographer panel.
3. Select your desired options, and click ok.
4. Draw with the tool as usual.

Does that help? Let me know if you have any other questions,

Keegan
