Here's a little script I whipped up with tons of options including:

Random or specific shape sides
Random or specific shape radius
Random or specific CMYK color options (for each channel)
Random or specific shape rotation
Random scattering option with area density

Almost everything you would want in a shape generator... pretty fun to play with, and to draw cryptic mosaics with...

Hello!
First of all so thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
I discovered the website 2 days ago and just can't leave it!
Your script seems pretty interesting but i can't use it, i don't know i have to press play or use the double stars to draw directly.
Can you help me pleaaaaaaaaaase?!
Is it possible to execute this script with font?

Thanks from Paris

Hi Remi,

This is a tool, so you assign it to either // or ** and draw with it. There are lots of options you can configure if you double click on the tool in the illustrator toolbar.

All the scripts in 'interactive tools' work this way, and usually do nothing if you push play. Does that help?

Hi Keegan, thank you answering my question!

Actually it helped me, i didn't understood the double click on the toolbar but now it works!!
I have to practise tools little bit more to realize what i'm expecting but that's not a problem.

Thanks you ALL! and Keegan of course.

Random Scattering?

When I modify options to include random scattering, the shapes are always triangles (no matter how many sides I set it to). Anyone else getting this problem or am I overlooking something?
